Sydney stabbing victim identified as Michaela Dunn

  • Friends have mourned inner west woman Michaela Dunn, 24, recalling her as ” a true delight to know” , after she was identified as the woman who died in Tuesday’s violent stabbing rampage in Sydney’s CBD.
  • Ms Dunn, a former student of the University of Notre Dame, was found with fatal stab wounds to her throat in an apartment on Clarence Street, after Mert Ney, 20, allegedly ran through the city covered in blood, brandishing a bloody butcher’s knife.
  • Police will allege Mr Ney stabbed Ms Dunn in the apartment, before running down Clarence, King and York streets, terrorising pedestrians and stabbing another woman in the back.
